A Psalm
  1. Lord my God, I take refuge in You.
    I dwell with You in the secret place of the Most High.
    I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
  2. I thank You for welcoming me with open arms.
    You wait for me in the secret place.
  3. Here I am, Lord
    Open my ears to listen to You.
    You desire to reveal to me the secrets of Your heart.
    Help me to take it to heart and obey.
  4. Lord, I long to sit at Your feet and hear Your word
    I want to be devoted to You.
    Help me to abandon myself to every word that proceeds from Your mouth.
    Have mercy on me, O Lord!
    Bless me with courage and equip me to respond to Your calling.
  5. I want to fear You, the God of my salvation.
    Search me and reveal to me the iniquities of my heart.
    Lead me in the path I should take.
    I cry out to You “Woe is me!
    I am undone!”
  6. You call me back to You.
    Your arms are open wide to embrace me
    I am overwhelmed by Your forgiveness.
    I am overcome with joy. I turn to You
    Merciful Father!
  7. I am empty without Your fullness;
    I am empty without Your wholeness;
    I am helpless without Your strength;
    I am clueless without Your wisdom.
    Apart from You I am nothing.
  8. I need You!
    I need You so desperately!
    I am pouring myself out to You here in the secret place.
    I worship You with my entire being.
  9. Lord, lead me in the way everlasting!

The Unbroken Thread: The Bible as One Unified Story

The Bible is often read in fragments—but it was written as one story. Across 66 books and more than 1,500 years, Scripture unfolds a single narrative of creation, brokenness, redemption, and hope. This teaching helps you see the Bible not as isolated passages, but as one coherent story that reveals God’s purpose for the world—and for us.
